๐Ÿบ AF Beer Pub Bingo

The game every alcohol-free drinker needs for Friday night. Tap squares when they happen. Get a line and you win absolutely nothing (except the moral high ground).

Why this exists

I've been drinking AF beer at the pub for about a year now. Every single one of these squares has happened to me. Multiple times. Sometimes in the same evening.

The warm Becks Blue is basically a certainty. Someone asking "what's the point?" is a 90% lock. And the barman who has to go check the back for the one AF option they technically stock? That's every other visit.

It's getting better. Slowly. More pubs are stocking Guinness 0.0 and Lucky Saint on tap. But we're still a long way from "just having a decent selection."

So until then, we might as well make a game of it.

The squares (explained for the uninitiated)

"Are you pregnant?" - Every woman who's ever ordered AF beer at the pub has heard this. Every. Single. One.

"Warm Becks Blue from 2019" - The universal pub AF experience. One dusty bottle, room temperature, behind 47 gins nobody asked for.

"What's the point?" - The question you'll answer approximately 400 times in your AF drinking career. The point is I like beer and I don't like hangovers. Next question.

"The barman doesn't know what AF they stock" - He has to go check. He comes back confused. He offers you a lime and soda instead. Classic.

If you actually get a full house, I want photographic evidence. That would be the worst pub night in history.

Better than pub bingo: drinking good AF beer at home

The pub AF experience is mostly rubbish because pub AF selection is mostly rubbish. At home you can drink whatever you want. I've been ordering IMPOSSIBREW lately - their IPA is genuinely the best AF beer I've had. Not even close. Referral link if you want a tenner off.
